Why Patji? The alias was derived from the Korean folk story of Kongji & Patzzi, the Korean Cinderella, if you will. Patzzi is the ugly step-sister that steps in and destroys Kongji’s life. In my eyes, I’ve always seen Patzzi as simply misunderstood. I’m trying to discover who I am, so why not reinvent the step-sister at the same time? Even if she was murderess three times over in the original telling.
